Issues
2026-04 - Bug in Android System WebView
Android System WebView is an auto-updated component in Android, which used by apps to display web content. An recent update prevented audio capture from working in all apps that use it. See the official issue tracker for more details.
If you’re using an app which no longer lets its audio being captured, while it worked before, that’s probably why.
A fix has been implemented and will come into future WebView updates.
If you can’t wait for it to be available on the normal channel, you could install the Beta version as described here.
Rebooting the device could be necessary.
