No audio sent from Linux to Android

If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to check the FAQ.

Description

There’s no audio on a POCO M3 Pro 5G (running MIUI Global 14.0.6), sent by HP 240 G7 (running Debian Trixie), even though both are connected. There’s data transfer. The audio volume can be controlled on the AudioRelay server.

There’s no further information in the server log (now I’m wondering if there are no log levels to choose from).
