Can't connect from iOS

Anyone have any luck with the IOS version of audio relay? I was really excited about this program so as to allow me to use my hearing aids with my laptop but I am unable to get the IOS app to find and connect to my laptop “Server”. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and if they know of any work around.

I’m also using the IOS version of audio relay and I have not had any success connecting either. I hope to find a work around too. I’ve tried all and variations of the following things:
using phone as server and computer as player

using computer as server and phone as player

disabling the firewall on my computer

ensuring the ip’s can connect by using terminal and an apps on both devices

trying to connect on both tailscale(i wouldn’t expect this to help) and many times local ips

I’m using the latest versions of the softwares and have restarted them on both devices.

I even tried pinging to the connection and audio port of audiorelay server on the phone from my computer. And when I messed with the custom port settings, they were reactive, but then they still couldn’t connect. I really don’t understand what the issue could be if it’s not related to connectivity like this. For some reason they could start a connection to themselves, but not between eachother. On phone, it would give me the error code "Failed to connect to ‘10.0.0.43’

kotlin.RuntimeException: The operation couldn't be completed. (NIOPosix.NIOConnectionError error 1.)

On computer, I wouldn’t get any error code. It just would move back from the connecting menu.

I’ve looked at the documentation and the forums, and so far I haven’t seen a solution.

I was also really excited about this program. It seems pretty perfect for what I’m trying to do, so it’s a shame that, despite all tools I can think of, I can’t get it to work. I hope we can find a solution.

@Kyle_Andersen @Thorn_Norton Thanks for trying the app. Could you explicitly mention whether you’re both using the latest 1.0.0-alphaXX version on your computers? The iOS app isn’t compatible with 0.x.x versions.

I was indeed 0.27.5. I downloaded the alpha version and it works correctly as intended. Thanks for the help and the app.
