Audio output only on phone

when I play audio on my pc then it plays on my phone, but when I mute sound on my pc there no output on my phone.
It will be great if the audio output will be OPTIONAL “on both” or “only on phone” or “only on a laptop”.

It works OK on my Windows 10 PC and a Windows 7 virtual machine. Which version are you on?
That’s maybe a specific behavior for laptops or it could be due to the laptop’s manufacturer. Maybe there’s even a setting to change… Right now, I don’t know what’s causing this.

If you go to the volume mixer, and mute the laptop, are the sound bar still moving up and down?
