Adding Adaptive Icons support to your app

Thank you, Developers of the hit app Audio Relay, for giving time in your remarkably busy day to read this message.

As you may know Android 13 launched a year ago and brought forth a few new features related to UI customization. The feature that I want to focus on now is the Adaptive Icons

The feature in question adds a monochromatic styling to all apps but it is an opt-in feature that can only be enabled by developers of their app’s .

The requested feature is simple and can be implemented in a day or a long evening.

you can just take the monochrome icon you use for notifications and adding

it too adaptive icon

Again, thank you for reading message

Here is a 30 second video showing you how to implement it into your app

Here is the API Documentation page the document seems to be very short hence the assumption of it only taking a day to implement.

Make Android 13 themed icon - Feature requests - AudioRelay
this post from last year shows that there is demand for this relatively simple feature
but I do wonder if the developers are actively developing this App as the last update was over 18 months ago

Maybe the company that funds the app development is running on hard times?
